Here are some latest figures for major search engine shares geographically. It is interesting to see Google occupying almost half of the search engine pie globally. Evidently, in the UK the Google.co.uk takes up the major share. Overall, Google seems to have a much tighter hold in Europe (74% in UK, 90% in France, 87% in Germany) as compared to the US & Australia.
