Google recently incorporated some changes in the iPhone version of Google to allow searchers to send Google their location, which willhelp make the search results more tailored/specific to that searcher.

We can open Google.com on our iphone and click on “preferences” after signing in.

Select “Yes” on “Allow use of device location”:

Google will then load our last location, if they have it and ask us if we want to update that location. This can be done by clicking on “update”

Then Apple asks you if Safari has your permission to grab your location:

Then Apple asks you if Google has your permission to grab your location:

Then we can see Google searching for our location…

Finally, Google updates with our new location and then allows us to update that location manually again, if we like to do so.

Currently this feature is available for iphones operating in US and UK
